Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will oversee all operational activities, continually seeking opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance employee knowledge and skill set while fostering a positive can-do atmosphere. This individual will be instrumental in working with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive and effective execution of business goals. HR functions will also reside with the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the office.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to business processes.
- Align goals and ensure effective collaboration between departments.
- Lead and support a team of insurance specialists, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Perform HR functions, including staffing, performance management, and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and track performance metrics to measure departmental success.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to drive operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within operations management or related fields.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions that drive operational success.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
