The Compensation/Mobility Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs at Benefit Cosmetics. This role will ensure that our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. The role will work closely with stakeholders to analyse compensation data, conduct market benchmarking analysis, and provide recommendations to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This role will also support mobility efforts (talent sharing) in and out of Benefit, ensuring total rewards components are executed timely and effectively.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to benchmark compensation programs and ensure competitiveness within the industry.
  • Assist in the development and administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation-related programs.
  • Evaluate job positions to determine classification, salary grade, and appropriate compensation levels.
  • Prepare and analyze compensation reports, metrics, and trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Prepare compensation package proposals for internal and external offers.
  • Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results to maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and practices.
  • Support the annual salary review process, including merit increases, promotions, and equity adjustments.
  • Prepare monthly accruals of payroll expenses and perform reconciliation of cross-country recharges
  • Own administration of domestic and international relocation benefit packages (mobility)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role, experience supporting global compensation programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS is a plus.
  • Prior beauty or luxury experience a plus

Schedule:

  • Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly to Benefit's Global HQ in San Francisco, CA

The target salary range for this position in California is $85,000 to $105,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus. This position is also eligible for the following benefits, including but not limited to: comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a 401(k) plan with employer matching, various paid time off programs; employee discounts/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts.
