The Revenue Accountant manages daily A/R activity for Benefit’s US and Canada markets. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable, maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholder. The Revenue Accountant will manage reconciliations between multiple sales platforms, payment processors, and ERP systems, ensuring accurate revenue reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies across both wholesale and retail customer segments.

What You’ll Do:

Cash Application and Reconciliation:

• Process daily cash applications, including reviewing chargeback support and collaborating with retailers to obtain necessary documentation before posting.
• Create and maintain an AR deposit report to monitor cash receipts and work with the GL team to resolve unidentified payments.
• Perform daily audits of credit card transactions from all boutiques and the e-commerce platform, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee invoicing and reconciliation of sales and cash for the e-commerce platform.

Invoicing and Credit Notes:

• Process manual invoices, including service revenue invoices, recharges, and customer credit notes.
• Monitor ERP system functionality to ensure accurate auto-invoicing; collaborate with IT to resolve any identified issues.

Collections and Deduction Management:

• Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify and address potential collection issues
Partner with account managers to identify, investigate, and dispute unauthorized deductions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1 years’ experience in revenue or general ledger accounting. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
• Knowledge of banks reconciliations and experience reconciling data from a POS system
1 years’ experience with accounting system; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar ERP system) is preferred

Schedule:

The target salary range for this position in California is $30.25/hr - $34.75/hr. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
