VP, Sales Americas
Mission : As Vice President Sales, you will lead Groq’s America’s sales organization, driving strategy and execution to expand our market presence and establish long-term relationships customers across our enterprise and commercial segments. You will play a pivotal role in defining how enterprises adopt GroqCloud, building a team of high-performing sales professionals, and shaping the future of AI.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Groq’s business goals and accelerates revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and success.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
- Drive large-scale, complex deal negotiations while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for Groq and its customers.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and Groq’s product offerings.
- Establish and maintain sales metrics, forecasts, and reporting systems to ensure visibility into the performance and pipeline health of the enterprise sales organization.
- Identify market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to influence product and go-to-market strategies.
- Act as a thought leader and brand ambassador, representing Groq at industry events, conferences, and with strategic partners.

Compensation : At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $222,700 to $419,290, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
Location : Groq is a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description.
