**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Client Services Manager - Employee Benefits to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of employee benefits administration, and the ability to work closely with clients to understand their needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support clients' employee benefits administration and address questions, claims, and billing issues promptly.
- Coordinate the annual renewal and open enrollment process efficiently.
- Organize and participate in client presentations, including employee education/enrollment meetings.
- Lead the implementation of benefits plans, including case submission, preparation of employee education materials, plan enrollment, and follow-up.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales of agency services by assessing client needs.
- Keep clients informed about current market conditions and ongoing benefit regulation changes.
- Collaborate with Producers on ongoing issues.
**Technology Requirements**
- Maintain agency management systems for record keeping and client management.
- Utilize benefits administration systems to support client employee benefit enrollment.
- Process employee enrollments, terminations, and changes through insurance company portals.
**Licensing Requirements**
- Hold a valid Louisiana Life and Health Insurance license.
**Other Responsibilities**
- Perform other duties as requested to ensure smooth operation of the independent insurance agency.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of customer service experience preferred.
- Life & Health License preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office environment, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with agency management systems or other client management systems is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Critical thinking and good judgment to prioritize key issues effectively.
