Administrative Assistant/Scanner (Waukesha, WI)
Summary
Provides administrative support to the Waukesha office. Assists management and other office personnel to help increase workflow efficiencies and department productivity. This is a Collective Bargained position.
Administrative Assistant/Scanner Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Scan documents into the system and network; index documents based on client, department and member.
- Prepare outgoing mailings to include copying, stuffing and labeling.
- Update participant system records based on forms/documents received.
- Create and/or update spreadsheets as needed.
- Assist with filing projects.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Scanner/Administrative Assistant Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Excellent math skills and strong communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.
- Extremely organized with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment is critical.
- The individual must speak clearly and professionally.
- Must have the ability to understand written and verbal directions.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
- Must be able to adapt quickly to various databases with willingness to learn.
- General knowledge of office equipment to include copiers and scanners a must.
Work Schedule - Full-time. Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Required in office (No at-home days).

This is a union position, benefits offered are determined by the collective bargaining agreement.

Pay
This is a union position. The wage rate for this position is determined by the collective bargaining agreement and may be dependent on experience, skills, education and other business factors. The current minimum starting rate for this position is $18.00 per hour, with a minimum $0.50 per hour increase after six months.
