Position Overview :

The Qualifying Sales Position is designed to be the first point of contact for potential clients at Benetrends Financial. This role is integral in assessing and qualifying leads to ensure they are connected with the appropriate Benetrends funding consultant. Through thoughtful conversations and analysis, this individual will determine a prospective client's funding needs, financial situation, and readiness to move forward, providing a seamless transition to the sales team. The Qualifying Sales Position plays a pivotal role in ensuring leads are effectively vetted and that clients receive tailored guidance from the very beginning of their funding journey.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Qualification :

Engage with potential clients through various channels (phone, email, web inquiries, portals, etc.) to gather initial information about their financial situation, funding needs, and business goals.

Assess the lead's suitability for Benetrends' funding options by conducting high-level financial discussions and asking targeted questions to understand their liquidity, credit standing, retirement savings, and funding timelines.

Accurately input lead information into the CRM system, ensuring all relevant details are captured for seamless handoffs to funding consultants.

Client Engagement :

Serve as the initial voice of Benetrends, representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm while building rapport with prospective clients.

Provide high-level explanations of Benetrends' funding options, addressing general inquiries, and offering clarity on next steps.

Manage scheduling for funding consultants by either transferring qualified leads directly or helping them schedule a follow-up call at a mutually convenient time.

Collaboration with the Sales Team :

Work closely with funding consultants to ensure all qualified leads are properly prepared and informed before consultations.

Provide detailed notes and background information to funding consultants to streamline the transition and avoid duplicative conversations.

Act as a bridge between potential clients and funding consultants, ensuring a smooth handoff and maintaining the client's confidence in the process.

Reporting and Process Improvement :

Track and monitor lead activity and follow-ups, ensuring no opportunities fall through the cracks.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify trends, improve qualification processes, and ensure the most effective use of resources.

Provide feedback on the quality of leads and suggest adjustments to improve lead generation and qualification processes.

Skills and Qualifications :

Excellent Communication Skills : Strong ability to engage in meaningful conversations and actively listen to prospective clients to assess their needs.

Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-ups.

Basic Financial Literacy : Comfortable discussing high-level financial concepts such as credit scores, liquidity, and funding timelines.

CRM Proficiency : Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) to document and track lead activity and ensure smooth transitions to the sales team.

Client-Focused Mindset : Strong interpersonal skills to establish trust and build rapport with potential clients.

Detail-Oriented : Keen eye for capturing accurate information and ensuring a seamless experience for both the client and funding consultants.

Position Requirements

Qualifications :

  • 2-5 years of experience in consultative sales, ideally to manager and executives;
  • Experience in developing long term client relationships and repeat business;
  • Experience in prospecting and generating leads;
  • Willingness to travel and work throughout the United States;
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
