The Opportunity :
As a Retirement Plan Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact providing solutions and day-to-day support to our valued customers. You will build strong relationships and trust by providing retirement plan and operational expertise, proactively identifying, owning and resolving client issues and engaging clients with value added consulting.
We're looking for a detail-oriented team member with exceptional customer service skills to serve as the subject-matter-expert and partner with Benetrends customers. Must be familiar with all aspects of plan administration including required testing, plan valuation / Form 5500 preparation, and able to assist with plan design to help clients achieve financial objectives, and ensure regulatory compliance related to the retirement plan. We'll give you the training, tools and support to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
How you'll make an impact :
- Provide exceptional customer service by proactively supporting clients, facilitating all facets of daily plan administration, understanding clients' needs, concerns, and ideas; and managing expectations.
- Performing nondiscrimination and other testing and providing strategic alternatives for correction of failures and presents options to improve future nondiscrimination test results.
- Preparing signature ready Forms 5500 and other government fillings for review.
- Effectively communicating the regulatory information and testing requirements to clients in a manner that is easily understood.
- Researching complex issues and using independent judgement in solving problems and making suggestions to client to ensure compliance.
- Reviewing, interpreting and maintaining the legal plan documents in order to assist clients in ensuring plan compliance with current IRS / DOL regulations.
- Collaborating with internal associates, clients, and vendors to develop and oversee the implementation of support strategies to deliver a superior customer experience.
- Manage and prioritize own workload efficiently to fulfill commitments on time and meeting professional excellence standards
- Experience with Pension Pro, FTW, CRM
