We are actively seeking a Orthodontic Area Leader to join our growing team. Support our mission to providing excellent dental care in the community and help us create more smiles and memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- The Orthodontic Area Leader is responsible for area orthodontic teams. The Orthodontic Area Leader assists teams with their performance targets in revenue, billing, and customer service targets through the direct management.
- Ensure the orthodontic team delivers quality and compassionate dental care to every patient
- Works closely with the office leadership team (Office Managers, Clinical Team Leads, and Dentists) to ensure ortho programs are effectively managed, the staff is fully trained, and that customer service standards are met
- Achieve financial performance targets such as revenue and billing first time approval rates
- Drive Ortho Team effectiveness while managing operational budgets
- Lead in the building of team that will embody the culture and the recruitment of staff for the offices.
- Enhance communication systems within the region to ensure effective communication up, down, and across the organization
- Responsible for employee satisfaction and retention through practices that promote communications, rewards/recognition, teamwork, and administration of effective employee relations practices
- Responsible for holding staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company compliance
- Maintain awareness of market conditions in the region. Recommend changes to deflect competitive pressures or to seize opportunity to capture greater market share
- Hold staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programs.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Requires – at least 80% travel
- Minimum of 5 years of dental management experience overseeing 15 employees.
- Multi-unit management experience a definite plus.
