Located within 1-2 hours from Coeur d' Alene ID, Spokane WA, & Montana border.
Under the direct supervision of a radiologist, performs diagnostic US procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment. May be assigned as an instructor for new physicians in the use of the equipment in the event of the technologists’ absence. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a US technologist. Produces two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs by performing the following duties.
- Graduate of accredited Radiology Program; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensed Ultrasound Technologist. ARDMS required. Breast Certified preferred.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of CPSI Information System software.
