What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-CDL/CDL Car Hauler Owner-Operator/Contracted-Carrier position at Bengal Shipping Company?
There are multiple opportunities available for Non-CDL and/or CDL Car-Hauling, Owner-Operators (run under Bengal’s authority) as well as Non-CDL and/or CDL Contracted Carrier (sub-contracting under an authority other than Bengal)
*** EACH POSITION REQUIRES THE DRIVER TO HAVE THEIR OWN ¾-TON OR 1-TON TRUCK DIESEL (Ex. 250’s, 2500’s, 350’s, and 3500’s) AND THEY MUST HAVE THEIR HAVE OWN TRAILER TO TRANSPORT CARS AND TRUCKS.

Owner-Operator Duties:
- The pay range for a Non-CDL driver with a 1-Car Hauler is $9,000-$18,000 gross per month based on the volume of work you complete and your desire to maximize your available hours.
- The pay range for a Non-CDL driver with a 2-Car Hauler is $10,000-$25,000 gross per month based on the volume of work you complete.
- This is a 1099 contract position.
- The opportunity to make a substantial amount of money is immense if you are willing to do the work.
- This is for a Nationwide OTR (Over The Road) Owner Operator position that requires you to have a valid medical card and also log HOS (Hours of Service) with an ELD (Electronic Logging Device).
- However, you wouldn't require a CDL as you would be under 26K pounds and our drivers and owners of this fleet group do not come home every night.
- Drivers are usually on the road between five to ten days at a time and typically take a break to do their restart weekly or come home and rest for two or three days every ten days or so.

Owner-Operator Requirements:
- Valid Medical Card.
- Ability to operate with an ELD (training provided).
- Clean MVR.
- Pre-employment and random drug tests are required.
- No DWI/DUI within 7 years.
- No criminal record within 5 years.
- No moving violations within 3 years.
- Must have verifiable driving experience.
- MUST OWN TRUCK AND TRAILER.
Contract-Carrier Description:
We are looking to partner with other transportation companies (usually Hot-Shot / Gen Freight) interested in working with an established car-hauling company. We will help fill in the gaps or holes of your existing business with vehicles. This will get you out of 'dead zones' and or rolling again.
