What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx Delivery Driver position at Bengal Trucking?
Bengal Trucking Inc is now hiring full-time FedEx Delivery Route Drivers in the Baton Rouge, LA area. Drivers will be operating out of the terminal located at 10800 S. Reitz Ave, Baton Rouge LA 70809 and will be making deliveries to homes and businesses in surrounding areas. Our drivers will be operating step vans and straight trucks provided by the employer. No CDL required. Must have Class D (chauffeur's) license or be willing to obtain one.
Pay: Beginning at $125/day
Schedule: Monday – Friday. 8:00am – 4pm or until route completion.

Requirements:
- Delivery driver experience preferred but not required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (paid for by employer)
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
- Physically able to carry packages 100 lbs or more. 150 lbs with a hand cart
- Able to deliver at least 130-150 stops per day.
- Must live within 30 minutes of Baton Rouge, LA.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the Baton Rouge terminal to pick up the vehicle and packages
- Deliver packages to customers
- Pickup packages from customers when required
- Properly scan all packages handled
Our FedEx Ground company is looking for people who have been Delivery Route Drivers, Truck Drivers, Couriers, and/or Pick Up Drivers, particularly if you have experience with UPS, Amazon, other FedEx Ground contractors, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies.
