Concrete Finisher/Crew Lead

Benge Industries is looking to add skilled concrete teammates to our continually expanding Concrete Operations. We are looking for a person that has the ability to coach, train and work simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.

Currently our scope of work consists of sidewalk repair, ADA Ramps ,stairs, driveway approaches and extruded curb.

Benge takes pride in our diversity, training and overall Integrity. In areas you may be lacking experience we are willing to help train and develop with you. Our concrete teams work nearly year round

We also have paving, sealcoat and striping divisions ,cross training those that are willing to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools to shape and finish concrete
- Set up and prepare job sites for concrete pouring
- Pour and spread concrete according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete saws, skid steer, excavator
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment after use

- Work with other divisions as need

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3 years previous experience as a concrete finisher, sidewalks, extruded curb, stairs, ADA

-Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong Analytical and Critical Thinking

-Prior crew leadership helpful

- Excellent Attendance Record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods of time,
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to safely operate Skid Steer, Excavator as needed
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing job requirements

_Valid Drivers license with a good record

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
