Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and evaluation. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Duties
- Conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, to assess product specifications and tolerances.
- Perform DATA tracking using software such as Therap for accurate data collection.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement quality assurance processes and resolve any quality-related issues.
- Document findings from quality audits and inspections, providing detailed reports for management review.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with DHHS standards.
- Train staff on QA/QC procedures and best practices to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Skills
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and tools, including ISP and GERs.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, including QA/QC methodologies.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings.
- Familiarity with DHHS regulations and industry standards related to product quality.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for thorough inspections and evaluations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to fabricate solutions when necessary to improve product quality or processes.
