Technology Services Specialist - NE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 destop and back-office support, trouble shooting issues of varying complexities.
  • Collaborate with end-users to support the existing technology platform and work closely with tier 3 Engineers to solve existing issues or design new solutions
  • Liaise with 3rd party hardware and software technology providers.

Qualifications:

  • Desktop application support, including Microsoft Office and financial services applications
  • Desktop hardware (IBM/Lenovo a plus) trouble-shooting
  • Windows-based operating systems support, including Vista and XP
  • TCP/IP concepts and troubleshooting network issues
  • Wireless device support and set up, including smart-phones and tablets
  • Anti-virus software installation and troubleshooting
  • Voice Over IP telephony support (Cisco a plus)
  • Technology middleware support and set up, including Active Directory
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, user-friendly environment
  • Patient and detail oriented with a proven history of delivery
  • Motivated self starter with excellent communication and problem solving abilities
  • Team player with good time management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Microsoft Certifications (MCP/MCDST/MCSA) preferred
  • Experience in financial services strongly preferred
  • Experience with supporting solutions in middle to large sized organizations

Education and/or Work Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent (in computer networking, computer science, MIS, or related field) required
