Summary
The Concord, New Hampshire, branch of Benjamin F. Edwards is seeking a motivated and driven Wealth Management Summer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, working alongside experienced Financial Advisors and Financial Client Associates. You will be responsible for supporting the team in a variety of tasks related to client management, account maintenance, and administrative duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Branch Manager, Financial Advisors, and Financial Client Associates with daily tasks, including account maintenance, data entry, and report generation.
- Conduct research on various investment products, services, and industry trends.
- Participate in client meetings and assist with the preparation of materials.
- Support marketing and business development initiatives including in-person client events.
- Collaborate with other interns and team members on projects.
- Attend training sessions and educational events.
- Learn and adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
Preferred Experience and Attributes
- Applicants must be entering their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year at a 4-year accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in finance, business, economics, or a related field with a strong interest in pursuing a career in the financial services industry.
- Professional presence with strong client service and interpersonal skills across a wide variety of communication channels (in-person, over the phone, and using video technology).
- Marketing expertise preferred, with an ability to understand and interpret numeric data.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Computer proficiency with basic applications (Office 365), and a proven ability to learn other software and technology. Interest in learning more about platforms like Pershing/NetX360, Salesforce, Orion, and MoneyGuidePro.
- Must be able to exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
