Summary
The Planning & Productivity Strategist (PPS) will facilitate the sharing of best practice strategies among advisors, managers, and branch personnel. Much of the focus is on driving the usage of our planning technology to enhance advisor productivity and deepen client relationships. The PPS will have competency in Salesforce, Orion, MoneyGuideElite, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, and The Eddy (intranet) and thoroughly understand their application and integrations. The PPS should also be familiar with other planning tools, calculators, and reports located on the advisor workstation.
Support will be delivered primarily via face-to-face programs (Teams meetings, small and large group seminars, and branch visits). PPS may also conduct live webinars, keynotes, recorded training modules, and client-facing deliveries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to work in a stationary position for several hours at a time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Some filing is required. The work environment is an air-conditioned, smoke-free, office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Train and assist advisors in using the current applications and resources to help maximize their productivity and efficiency. PPS is not expected to be the lead “technical” expert in these tools, though should fully understand their capabilities and have an overall sense of how they are used.
- Work in conjunction with firm subject matter experts.
- Use Teams meetings, seminars, and branch visits to relay and observe advisor best practices.
- Strive to develop long-term relationships with advisors
- Provide ongoing nurturing of advisor development
- Develop and maintain a library of training programs, resources, and presentations
- Gather and disseminate feedback
- Requires a solid understanding of the overall technology, financial planning, products, and services of the firm and the ability to keep up with any changes to our product/service/technology mix and industry technology and planning trends
- FA coaching, analysis, and training
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong motivational and organizational skills
- Ability to work successfully with others from across the firm to accomplish shared goals
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum Required: 5-7 years of securities industry experience
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required (or obtained within 6 months from hiring date)
