What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher (summer 2025) position at Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School?
**Our Extended School Year program runs Monday-Thursday, 8:45am-12pm from July 7th through August 7th. Optional planning days will be on Monday June 30 and Tuesday July 1 and family/student orientation will be on Wednesday July 2nd from 10am-12pm.**
The role of the Special Education Teacher is to provide special education services to students. The Special Education Teacher plans, organizes and implements an appropriate, comprehensive instructional program in a supportive and collaborative learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic, social and emotional potential.
BFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts.
