Last year, Franklin Cummings Tech educated more than 1,000 learners across three student types : 1) certificate and degree seekers, 2) continuing education clients, and 3) high schoolers pursuing early college. As further evidence that our mission holds resonance, this year the college tracked a 25% year over year jump in fall new student enrollment and applications soared.

Job Summary :
Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer in Mathematics and Science to join the General Education Department. The ideal candidate will hold a master's degree in mathematics or a related field and possess experience teaching a range of math courses, including fundamental mathematics and higher-level courses such as multivariable calculus. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and the broader educational community.

- Teaching : Deliver engaging and effective instruction in various mathematics courses, with a focus on promoting student understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Curriculum Development : Contribute to the development and improvement of math course materials, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional learning objectives.
- Student Engagement : Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse student backgrounds and learning styles, promoting student success and retention.
- Assessment : Implement formative and summative assessment methods to evaluate student learning outcomes and provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Office Hours : Hold regular office hours to provide academic support, guidance, and mentorship to students.
- Diversity and Inclusion : Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by integrating inclusive teaching practices, respecting diverse perspectives, and promoting a welcoming and accessible learning environment for all students.
