Job Summary
As a Plumber's Helper, you will work alongside and support the lead plumber by assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Job Duties
Assist lead plumbers on job sites, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks
Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Carry tools, materials, and equipment as needed for each job
Follow instructions and guidance from the lead plumber for installation, repair, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems
Learn how to perform basic plumbing tasks, such as cutting, measuring, and assembling pipes
Wear protective gear (floor savers, etc.) while inside clients' homes to maintain a neat and respectful work environment
Assist in testing all completed work to ensure proper function and quality
Maintain a safety-conscious attitude while on the job site and during transportation to job sites
Ensure tools, materials, and vehicles are properly cleaned and organized after each job
Communicate effectively with the lead plumber and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow
Minimum Requirements
Strong interest in learning the plumbing trade with a desire to pursue a career in plumbing
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude toward customer service
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Willingness to adhere to company standards for safety, professionalism, and cleanliness
