Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during interactions with clients. A commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring safe transportation of goods.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Navigate efficiently to various delivery locations while adhering to all traffic laws.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Knowledge of operating a pallet jack and forklift is beneficial but not required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary, along with a clean driving record.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week

• Morning shift
• Overnight shift

Work Days:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
