Anticipated Cafeteria Aide

Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of Anticipated Cafeteria Aide at Benner Elementary School.

Duties: 

Establish and maintain a calm pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, as well as assist with school food service.

Qualifications:

        Academic:                 Minimum – High school diploma.

        Experience:               Minimum – Experience working with children.

                                        Preferred - Experience working in school cafeteria

                                                         operations.

       Mathematical:             Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of

                                        measure; and ability to make currency change.

       Communication:          Ability to pleasantly and effectively interact with students

                                        and staff.

Work Day:                        2.00 hours/day (subject to change)

Work Year:                       180days/year; 9-month position - 3 paid holidays

Level:                               D (2024-2025 school year)

This position is in accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
