Full Time Litigation Paralegal – New York, NY
Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC is looking for an experienced litigation paralegal in its New York City office. The ideal candidate will have at least three-five years of no fault litigation experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to draft and assemble first-party motions for summary judgment, default judgment, and others under the supervision of the assigning attorney
- Assist attorneys with arbitration and court appearance including but not limited to trial preparation
- Experience with declaratory judgment actions in NY is a plus Experience with tracking case status on e-Courts/e-Law and NYSCEF
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and proactively manage a large case load
- Ability to work independently;
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Must be a team player
- Case management software experience is a plus
The salary range for this position is $60k , commensurate with experience.
The firm currently works under a hybrid schedule. This means you will be able to work from home for a portion of your workweek. The details of this schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
