Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our staff. The candidate's duties will be set with experience.
Responsibilities May Include
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Perform payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee wages.
- Conduct double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Proficient in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks preferred
- Experience in general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet management.
- Solid background in double entry bookkeeping and journal entries.
- Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and perform bank reconciliations.
