Local leading construction equipment rental and sales company is seeking a Class A CDL driver. Duties listed below:
Transport Equipment: Safely load, transport, and unload construction machinery, often requiring securement procedures (chains, straps).
Inspect Equipment: Check the truck, trailer and load before and after each trip, ensuring everything is in safe working condition.
Navigate Challenging Terrain: Driving to job sites that could be remote, rural, or even on construction sites with poor roads.
Compliance: Ensure all trips adhere to DOT regulations, including weight limits, load securing, and any required permits for oversized loads.Some loading/unloading might involve manual labor, so being physically fit can be an advantage.
