Duties listed below : Transport Equipment : Safely load, transport, and unload construction machinery, often requiring securement procedures (chains, straps). Inspect Equipment : Check the truck, trailer and load before and after each trip, ensuring everything is in safe working condition. Navigate Challenging Terrain : Driving to job sites that could be remote, rural, or even on construction sites with poor roads. Compliance : Ensure all trips adhere to DOT regulations, including weight limits, load securing, and any required permits for oversized loads.Some loading / unloading might involve manual labor, so being physically fit can be an advantage.
