Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including programming and tooling adjustments.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure product accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop CAM programming for new projects.
- Operate press brake machines and other factory equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
- Knowledge of tooling, press operations, and factory processes.
- Experience with CAM programming is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.27 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
