Description
Job Summary:
Rigger is responsible for properly setting up the crane effectively signaling the operator and utilizing safely and correctly the rigging provided for the lift at hand.
Job Duties:
- Effectively and safely setting up the crane for the lift at hand
- Signaling the operator either by verbal, hand or radio communications
- Properly rigging and monitoring the lift for proper connection
- Monitor the crane positioning during the lift for obstructions and are deviations in the environment
- Safely complete the lift at hand and safely down rig the load
- Properly load the rigging and mats for transportation back to terminal.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent
- 1-2 years experience
- NCCER Certification
