Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and people driven Financial Services Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial services recommendations, assisting clients with their needs, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. As a Financial Services Agent, you will be responsible for sourcing new clients, managing existing client accounts, partnering with agents for joint work opportunities and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Duties
- Administer benefits programs and assist clients in understanding their options.
- Engage in sales activities to promote financial products and services.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive client information.
- Conduct life insurance sales and provide guidance on policy options.
- Manage sales administration tasks, including tracking leads and maintaining client records.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential clients and expand the customer base.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Agree to transfer any existing Series 6, 7 and/or 63 FINRA registrations to a designated Broker/Dealer, and to terminate any concurrent or dual registration; or agree to take the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam and obtain a Series 6 or 7 registration and, if applicable, the Series 63 registration within ninety (90) days of a written request.
Experience
Candidates should possess a background in finance or related fields, with experience in the following areas being highly desirable:
- Benefits administration
- Sales experience, particularly in Life insurance or financial products
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong relationship building skills
- Proficiency in sales administration tasks
- Ability to analyze financial data effectively
- Experience in telemarketing or direct sales environments
- Excellent customer service skills
- At least 1 year of customer facing sales experience in the Life and Financial Services Industry
- Life Accident and Health License insurance license is required
