Bennett’s Commercial Refrigeration, Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Job Type: Full-Time plus benefits
Pay Rate: Negotiable (Based on Experience)
Role: The Refrigeration Installer Foreman oversees the Installation Crew and assists with the removal, construction and installation of commercial refrigeration equipment in supermarkets and refrigerated warehouses.
Job Duties:
- Lead construction and installation team on refrigeration projects
- Follow plans to install new systems and modify existing systems
- Work with crew onsite to oversee installation of piping, drain, racks, single units, cases and walk ins.
- Ensure the necessary materials required for the project are on hand and readily available
- Perform all duties in conformance to safety rules, keep jobsite clean and follow company procedures
- Ensure a timely and quality completion of project.
- Ensures use of PPE and the application of safe behavior, including vehicle safety, by all employees.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of commercial refrigeration experience, supermarket experience a plus
- Knowledge of refrigeration installation and controls
- Knowledge of single systems, parallel rack systems, display cases and walk ins
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability of locate and repair leaks on racks or single units
- Able to read blueprints and follow safety procedures
- Ability to work well with others
- Must be able to travel during the week (expenses paid)
- Willing to work overtime
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license; safe driving record
- Physically able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Willing to work in adverse weather conditions
Required Education:
High school or equivalent
