Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable, including bill payments and vendor management
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries
- Generate monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
- Maintain organized financial records
- Manage the client onboarding process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed
- Communicate effectively with new clients to gather information and answer questions
- Maintain accurate client records
- Provide general administrative support and managing internal and external correspondence
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Develop and implement efficient organizational systems
- Manage schedule and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proactively identify and address potential issues
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience with client onboarding is a plus
