Aquatics Manager

Job Summary:
As an Aquatics Manager, you will be responsible for the various tasks of the daily operation of Bennington Pool Services. This will include, but not limited to, the oversight and management of the lifeguard managers, swim instructors, lifeguards and gate guards, and swim lesson programs, managing and creating schedules, and traveling to assigned pools, and other misc tasks/administrative work assigned to help the department/organization as a whole. You would be expected to support other areas of the company as needed and required.
The Aquatics Manager is also responsible for maintaining and following all Bennington policy and procedures established in the Handbook.
Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
Communication: Must be able to communicate politely and professionally with all staff on a daily basis.
Scheduling: You will be responsible for overseeing and creating applicable employee schedules for 2023 summer. Managing employee work restrictions and overtime.
Clock ins/confirmations: You will be responsible for overseeing LG managers confirming all lifeguarded shifts and watching all employee clock ins to ensure they are onsite for their scheduled shift.
Timecards: You are responsible for double checking and approving all lifeguard, LGI, and LG manager timecards before submitting to the staffing manager for payroll.
Lifeguard: In certain situations (lifeguard manager call out/now show, guard call out/no show, limited availability or staffing shortages) - you will be responsible for covering the pool/shift until coverage is found.
Lifeguard Instructing: You will be responsible for holding and teaching Lifeguard Certification classes.
Onsite / In-person Management: responsible for the managing and training of all staff.
Ensure all team members have and are wearing proper uniform
Team members have all necessary equipment to be successful for their shift
Ensure the pools are maintained to be blue, clean, and clear
Chemical levels are checked and balanced
Pool has all required equipment - in good conditions
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Sit/stand in front of a computer/in a car for extended periods of time
Maintain confidentiality and privacy as required by regulations and company policy
Punctual and professional behavior
Familiarity with Google and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent customer service skills
