What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector/Coordinator - Vacation Rental Housekeeping position at Bennington Properties?
We are looking for a full time, year round Inspector/Coordinator to support our hard working housekeepers. This position coordinates the daily housekeeping schedule 2 days a week (office job) AND inspects and touches up our vacation homes 3-days a week (fin the field job) after they have been cleaned and ensures that each house is clean and ready to our standards for guest and homeowner arrival.
It is requirement that this position have experience cleaning vacation rentals, however, if you do not have experience, we will start you in housekeeping for 4-6 weeks and once you have proven yourself capable of cleaning to standard, we'll train you as a Quality Assurance Inspector.
The right candidate for this position is a positive, kind person who loves to encourage their co-workers, learns new computer programs quickly, works very well with lots of distractions, has excellent attention to details, can commit to work at least one weekend day every week (Tues-Sat or Sun-Thur) and enjoys working both in the office and out in the field regardless of the weather.
The field work part of this job is very physically demanding; you'll be sweating every day you're in the field. You will be using your own vehicle to get from home to home so you must have reliable transportation (able to handle all weather) and a valid driver's license and insurance. You must also be able to pass a drug screen (testing positive for cannabis is not an automatic disqualifier, but testing for other drugs are) and a background check (a criminal record is not an automatic disqualifier, unless it involves a violent crime and/or theft).
