Responsibilities:
-Assist Hygienist daily
- Assist the dentist during dental exams
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays, Coronal Polish
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and trimming trays
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of medical records systems and electronic health records (EHR)
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
