Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union seeks a dedicated and experienced Special Educator: Autism to join our team! In this position, the Special Educator: Autism will develop and implement educational programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Grades K-4 at The Dorset School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, and expertise in developing personalized programs for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a terrific opportunity for a teacher with an interest and passion for educating this incredible population of students.Applicants are expected to know current instructional research and evidence-based instructional practices for servicing students with Autism and should be comfortable providing specialized programming in a pull-out setting, as well as collaborating with other professionals in an inclusive setting.
