What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute (Several Opportunities) position at Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union?
The Substitute role is vital to ensuring the operational excellence of each school by assuming the duties of teachers and staff when they are absent from work. Substitutes can work as often as they would like, on a regular or intermittent schedule. We welcome substitutes to work in our schools every day and we incentivize regular work. Base substitute compensation for the 2024/2025 school year is $17.50 per hour.
Substitutes are needed for teachers, paraeducators, kitchen staff, instructional support team members, custodians, bus assistants, and front office staff. While we encourage substitutes to work at all of our BRSU schools, you may request to work at specific buildings.
