About the Role
Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In this position, you will manage compliance programs, training, and audits while serving as a subject matter expert in safety administration. This role requires strong leadership, expertise in DOT regulations, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the safety and compliance team to ensure daily adherence to regulations.
- Training & Development: Develop and implement safety training programs for DOT-classified employees.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct root-cause analysis for accident investigations and provide expert guidance.
- Data Analysis & Compliance: Monitor incidents, violations, and CSA scores, implementing corrective actions.
- Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with FMCSR regulations and manage DOT random drug and alcohol testing programs.
- Safety Audits: Oversee driver hiring standards and evaluate safety performance through audits.
- Accident Review Board Leadership: Ensure accurate Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and lead reviews.
- Culture of Safety: Promote safety awareness through training, mentoring, and communication initiatives.
