Transportation Coordinator
Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to support our transportation operations. In this essential role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of daily administrative reconciliation functions, maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct daily audits of driver paperwork, ensuring accuracy against data entered in the transportation software (TMW) for the accounting department.
- Investigate discrepancies, missing information, and potential issues in driver paperwork, ensuring alignment with transportation software records.
- Prepare and organize driver paperwork and key issuance for daily transportation operations.
- Driver paperwork includes freight bills, customer trip sheets, driver payroll sheets, fuel slips, shipping documentation, and DOT-required records.
- Accurately record, verify, and maintain data to ensure 100% accuracy in all documentation.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures to meet internal and external audit requirements.
- Track and document assigned drivers, equipment, and customer plans, including freight pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely and efficient entry of company and customer-related data into transportation software systems.
- Collaborate with carriers and assist the account team to ensure customer requirements are met, including communication of pick-up and delivery information.
- Update key transportation database files with customer, EDI, carrier, vehicle, and driver information.
- Report all accidents, injuries, and safety concerns to site leadership.
- Monitor and obtain KPI and productivity goals as set by the Operations team.
- Attend and complete all required company training related to development, safety, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. policies, DOT and OSHA regulations, and C-TPAT best practices.
- Follow all workplace processes and standards in support of ISO-9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 : 2015, and OHSAS 45001 quality certification programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
