Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. As a Stocker, you will be responsible for organizing and replenishing merchandise in our store. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our shelves are fully stocked and products are readily available for our customers.
Duties:
- Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks
- Inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy
- Sort and organize merchandise on shelves and in storage areas
- Ensure that products are properly labeled and priced
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Rotate products to maintain freshness and prevent expiration
- Assist customers in locating products and provide excellent customer service
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment to move heavy items as necessary
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to sell products by providing accurate information and recommendations
- Ability to load, unload, and move heavy items using proper lifting techniques
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks or other equipment is preferred
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate product placement and pricing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization
