Job Summary :
This employee is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program for preschool students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom setting
and meeting the duties of teaching as outlined in the district policies. Duties of this position include but are not limited to : designing the academic educational program
so that it is consistent with the total educational philosophy of the district; preparing educational plans for each group of students based on individually assessed needs in
accordance with student IEP's, the district's philosophy, and programmatic goals and objectives; establishing and maintaining cooperative relations with other employees.
Qualifications :
- Professional Educators License required
- Early Childhood Education approval / endorsement required
- Early Childhood Special Education approval / endorsement required
- ESL approval / endorsement required
- Spanish speaking preferred but not required
- Successful teaching experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to be an effective member of a team
Position is for a long-term substitute from approximately the middle of April 2025 until the end of the 24-25 school year.
Pay : $250 / day
