Description
The Concessions Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of all food and beverage concessions within the water park. This includes overseeing staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety and quality, and maximizing profitability. This position reports to the Assistant Pool Manager/Pool Manager.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supervise all concession stand operations, including staffing, scheduling, and daily production.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all concession areas and equipment.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, ensuring freshness and adherence to established standards
- Conduct daily and weekly inventory counts of all food, beverage, and supplies
- Place orders for food, beverage, and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise concession stand staff, including cashiers and food handlers.
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily cash reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular food safety inspections and maintain necessary documentation including temperature control sheets, sanitation records, cleaning logs, and other standard food safety regulations.
- Manage and track inventory costs to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in food service management, or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Meet the minimum age requirement of at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of food cost analysis and inventory control systems
- Must be certified or willing to attain certification in CPR & First Aid within 90 days of hire.

SALARY $17.50 per hour
HOURS 30 hours per week including evenings and weekends depending on program scheduling. Subject to change based on park district needs.
