POSITION SUMMARY:
Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Supervisor to oversee and manage our day-to-day collections workflows. The ideal candidate will ensure that the collections team meets deadlines and service level expectations (SLEs) while working closely with the Accounting Director to support financial statement preparation and audits. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to managing past due accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Supervision
- Supervise the Collections team, manage timecards, and oversee time off requests.
- Conduct regular meetings to discuss A/R aging and ensure accurate collections workflow.
- Identify and perform additional tasks supporting team and organizational goals.
Collections Management
- Monitor and manage the collections process to ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce past due accounts.
- Handle escalated collections issues and negotiate payment plans with clients.
- Ensure compliance with collections policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Culture
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to resolve vendor invoice or purchase order issues.
- Encourage open communication and teamwork within the Collections team and with other departments.
- Uphold company vision, values, and culture by fostering integrity, empathy, commitment, and a customer-focused approach.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in accounts receivable
- 2 years of experiences in a lead or supervisory position
