We also offer all team members an On-Site Fitness Facility, Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine (at no cost to you), Indoor Courtyard, and a Self-Service food market.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sign Fabricator role involves creating permanent architectural signage using materials such as metal, steel, wood, and LED lights. You'll need to interpret work orders and schematics, perform MIG welding to fabricate steel and aluminum, and assemble finished products using power equipment. In addition, quality control, troubleshooting, and stress testing are also essential skills that the position demands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sign Assembly and Fabrication:
- Assemble various décor/signage items from start to finish.
- Interpret work orders and schematics to assemble finished product.
- Weld using MIG welding methods to fabricate steel and aluminum.
- Operate various power equipment to complete projects.
- Assist with packing and crating completed signage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Efficient Order Fulfillment through Quality Control and Testing:
- Review orders and fabricate required items in time to meet scheduled ship dates.
- Verify dimensions and products specifications to mark, measure, cut, and fit.
- Ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or recalls.
Effective Communication and Collaboration:
- Participate in product development meetings.
- Utilize “The Benson Way” fundamentals to foster a supportive culture including promoting effective communication, teamwork, kindness, commitment, ownership, results-driven work, consistency, and customer-centricity.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
Work Experience:
- 2 years’ signage fabrication, required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of channel letters, LED lighting, and architectural signage industry.
- Ability to operate various power tools necessary to complete projects.
- Understanding written and oral instructions, including product schematics and assembly.
- Capability to use mathematics to ensure correct measurements.
- Ability to weld steel and aluminum.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Adhere to quality control and safety standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Working in a climate-controlled environment while standing for long periods of time.
