Job Summary:
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods between the retail stores and warehouses. This role involves loading and unloading merchandise and ensuring timely distribution of merchandise to meet store demands.
Monday-Friday start time 7:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport inventory between warehouses and retail locations while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading merchandise, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and mileage.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies related to warehouse and transportation operations.
- Support warehouse operations as needed, including stocking, organizing, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid NYS driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in delivery driving is an advantage.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Work Environment:
- Frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions while loading / unloading and making deliveries.
- Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if required).
