Although “straight friendly,” our goal is to set the travel standard for what we call the Bent Community (the not-so-straight, nerdy cool, khakis by day leather by night, long pink hair (or crew cut), black nail polish (or no nail polish), nose ring, wedding ring, boxing ring, hairy, smooth, fem, masc, butch, he, she, they, them, Jack and Coke, dirty martini, daiquiri, top, btm, vers, side, switch and all the rest of us that make life interesting).

Qualifications
- At least one year of previous experience in a high-volume bar with 3 years total experience as a bartender
- Excellent communication and guest service skills required
- Must have basic knowledge of common drink recipes within the industry
- Must have knowledge of proper pour measurements
- Ability to handle a cash and credit transaction with a basic knowledge of POS systems
- Required Work Cards: Alcohol Awareness and Health Card. Also be able to get a sheriff’s card
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for being knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections as well as maintaining the appearance of the bar
- Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
- Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
- Cash handling: Ringing poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including Counting in and out.
- Knowledgeable of menu items, including mixture and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
- Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Knowledge of our food menu items and able to take orders, ring them in and deliver the food.
- Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
- Walking, standing or stooping (80% of the time)
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Flexible and long hours sometimes required
We hold a high regard for customer service and guest relations at Bent Inn & Lounge Bar. Our Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic, as well as non-alcoholic drinks to guests of the hotel, bar and restaurant. Our bartenders will also be responsible for serving food to tables and the bar all while providing a fun and entertaining atmosphere for our guests.
