We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Indirect Buyer to join our procurement team. At BENTELER, we strive for excellence in sourcing and supplier management. The Indirect Buyer will play a critical role in managing procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions, and maintaining strong supplier relationships in coordination with the Commodity Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and analyze local procurement markets to identify trends and developments, providing insights to Commodity Managers.
- Negotiate with market suppliers on new business decisions, annual pricing, and savings opportunities in alignment with the Commodity Manager.
- Manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs), conduct bid analyses, and provide supplier recommendations.
- Perform supplier visits and audits in collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers.
- Conduct cost analysis activities alongside the Cost Analysis Team.
- Assist Commodity Managers with tenders, audits, and supplier evaluations.
- Maintain effective daily communication with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee contract management, including contract data maintenance.
- Troubleshoot technical and time-sensitive procurement issues.
- Execute commodity reporting and performance measurement initiatives.
- Develop and update procurement templates, tools, and standards in collaboration with the Competence Center.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including invoice resolution, open order reports, and responding to plant requests.
