Bentley Commons at Paragon Village, located in Hackettstown, New Jersey, is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant. Applicants should have at least one year experience working within large apartment building complexes or assisted living facilities a plus.
Must be available "on-call" for emergencies.

Summary
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our assisted living facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your role involves performing various maintenance tasks, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and schematics skills. You will leverage your handyman experience to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently. Your premium skills in electrical work and welding, along with core competencies in facilities maintenance, will enhance the living environment for our residents. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in assisted living facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix equipment issues, including plumbing and electrical systems.
- Assist with painting and general handyman tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete maintenance requests efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing all maintenance duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
