- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries related to medical records and appointments.
- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Retrieve, file, and organize patient charts and other medical documents accurately.
- Process patient requests for medical records, ensuring the appropriate release of information.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Ensure all records are entered into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with verifying insurance information and patient eligibility for services.
- Work closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
