Role Description
This full-time on-site role located in New York, NY requires an Associate Designer for Lighting & Audio Visual Services within the Live Events industry. The Associate Designer will assist in the production and implementation of all lighting and audio-visual projects, including conceptual design, development and document preparation, and project management. The Associate Designer will also work with clients to understand their needs, budget, and timeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre Design or a related field is preferred
- 2 years of experience in lighting and audio visual design, production, and implementation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Vectorworks software
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and vendors
- Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and timelines
- Experience in live events, theatre, or entertainment industry is a plus
- Passion for design, innovation, and a desire to learn and develop new skills
