The Business Systems Support Specialist will provide First Level end-user support for problems, requests, and questions from associates. The qualified candidate will also be responsible for IT Asset Management, Mobile Phone and iPad purchasing and support, IT Accounting including vendor bills, Purchase Order entry and receiving, and IT budget planning.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
o First Level end-user support for problems, requests, and questions from associates on PC hardware and software, networks, data and voice communications, printing, servers, and AS / 400 connectivity and application issues.
o Assists end-user associates with requests, problems, questions, procedures, and performs first level problem determination and problem resolution.
o Learns and uses the platforms and tools selected to support the Information Services financial and administrative processes especially as they relate to the administration of Information Services assets
o Adds information to the asset records when Information Services assets are acquired, and then updating the records when assets are transferred or disposed of; ensuring that such entries are also reflected in the Bentley Prince Street financial records
o Reconciles the detailed Information Services asset records with the fixed assets and general ledger records
o Analyzes vendor billings; prepares monthly management reports on utilization and cost trends
o Allocates appropriate cost for leased equipment / services back to proper business units
o Maintains files of open procurement requisitions, purchase agreements; receiving reports and invoices; provides the necessary matching of these documents and authorizes vendor invoices for payment, subject to review and final approval by either the Manager Client Operations / Data Communications or the Director of Information Services
o Maintains list of assets under hardware / software maintenance contracts
EXPERIENCE OR REQUIREMENTS
o High School Diploma (Required)
o Must have a Minimum 2 years IT related experience
o Excellent customer service skills
o Excellent knowledge of and experience with two or more of :
o Asset Management Methodologies
o PC and Server Technology
o Printers and other PC Peripherals
o General Accounting Knowledge

Starting pay range : $25-$30
- The “base salary range” provided above is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The range provided is required by California State Law. Bentley Mills reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to : candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and local / geography. Bentley Mills conducts regular reviews of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
